Recently, the city of Cordoba, self-summoned meetings were started by the Public Libraries.
The first was held in Mary Saleme BP and the second in the Popular Library "Arturo Orgaz, which was the first to be asisistimos.
Here is a brief overview of the Second Meeting:
The Popular Library of Argentina attended the meeting in the Library Orgaz May 14, convened by Mary Saleme BP.

- claim by Law 8016 and
- the need to analyze and find solutions to various problems of libraries. On these axes
reached an agreement whereby horizontal work would form working committees to investigate and seek information, tools, specialist consultations, etc. to find a methodology for making progress in the claims.
Thus were formed two committees at the moment:
- Study and analysis of current situation of libraries. This information could, for example having data that can serve as arguments, justification of a first document to provide genuine grounds for claiming the implementation of the law.
- 8016 Law Commission review and reflection on how best to implement measures of actions and claims under the spirit that identifies the Popular Movement Library.
At some point in the meeting, one participant raised his concern about the absence of Febipo, from the library responded to this concern, saying that BP are autonomous, institutionally mature these meetings that are looking for is the strengthening of public libraries as a popular movement capable of identifying their problems, analyze them, find the best ways and solutions, and if you ever feel Febipo can participate will be welcome. It also made clear that is not working in a spirit of confrontation or develop parallel actions to the Federation, but to act as a nucleus of support because it understands and it is understood that, like public libraries, work from the volunteering and the hours work for this cause, they are always insufficient.
The call is for a meeting Friday at the library in training called "La casa del Pueblo in Chaco Street 74, Bairro Alto Alberdi, at 19 pm.
